INFORMATION ABOUT CIVIL WEDDING CEREMONIES

FACILITIES

The following facilities in the Villa Varda grounds can be booked as venues for civil wedding ceremonies, as long as they are not being used by the Town Council for initiatives of public interest:

  1. The entrance hall on the ground floor of the villa itself (main entrance).
  2. The room on the ground floor of the building known as the “Canevon”, on the left side of the villa.
  3. For drinks: the main foyer or the “Rose Garden” by the “Canevon”.

CEREMONY TIMES AND DURATION

The premises will be made available for a total of three hours (one hour of preparation time before the ceremony and two hours after the ceremony for drinks or a standing buffet in the rooms next to the villa or the outdoor area behind it.

Ceremonies can be held at the following times:

WEEKDAYS AND SATURDAY MORNINGS:
Monday to Friday, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Saturday morning from 10:00 am to 12 noon.

SATURDAY AFTERNOONS, SUNDAYS AND PUBLIC HOLIDAYS:
Saturday afternoon from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Sundays and public holidays, from 10:00 am to 12 noon.

PRICE

WINTER RATES (from 15 October to 15 April)

  • €300.00 on weekdays and Saturday mornings for couples with at least one member residing in the Municipality of Brugnera.
  • €400.00 on Saturday afternoons, Sundays and public holidays for couples with at least one member residing in the Municipality of Brugnera.
  • €500.00 on weekdays and Saturday mornings for couples residing outside the Municipality of Brugnera.
  • €700.00 on Saturday afternoons, Sundays and public holidays for couples residing outside the Municipality of Brugnera.

SUMMER RATES (from 16 April to 14 October)

  • €250.00 on weekdays and Saturday mornings for couples with at least one member residing in the Municipality of Brugnera.
  • €350.00 on Saturday afternoons, Sundays and public holidays for couples with at least one member residing in the Municipality of Brugnera.
  • €450.00 on weekdays and Saturday mornings for couples residing outside the Municipality of Brugnera.
  • €650.00 on Saturday afternoons, Sundays and public holidays for couples residing outside the Municipality of Brugnera.

Please note: The rates will be reduced by €100.00 for couples that have their wedding reception in the “Canevon”.

Civil wedding ceremonies can only be held on Saturday afternoons, Sundays and public holidays if the presence of a registrar can be guaranteed.

PAYMENT

Payments must be sent by bank transfer to the account of the Town Council Treasurer’s Office:

IBAN: IT12A 05336 64790 0000 30229650. In the description, please state “Versamento per celebrazione matrimonio civile a Villa Varda”.

Confirmation of the payment must be taken to Brugnera Town Council’s Register Office before the ceremony and handed over along with your full name, home address and tax code so that an invoice can be issued.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TOWN COUNCIL

The Town Council shall clean the venue before and after use. It shall also supply electricity, as well as heating in the winter. Taking into consideration the maximum capacity of the premises for entertainment purposes, as established by the health and safety regulations, the Town Council shall set out an appropriate number of chairs (approximately 40).

CODE OF CONDUCT FOR USERS OF THE VENUE

When the Town Council hands over the venue, it shall be in a good state of repair and the electricity, heating and air conditioning systems will be working efficiently. Everything must be found in the same condition at the end of the hire period. If any damage to the buildings and facilities is found and the users are deemed to be to blame, the extent shall be assessed and the users shall be charged. Please act sensibly and use your common sense during the celebrations, especially when throwing items such as rice, confetti and streamers.

SUPERVISION

The premises shall be opened, closed and monitored by voluntary staff in the grounds.
